About
About watermaze.org
A free field guide for water maze users, online since 1998.
watermaze.org started in 1998 as a home page for water maze users. It collected practical notes from the people who used the maze every day: the pool, the room, the rodents and the measures. The original pages are kept word for word, labelled "From the original watermaze.org (1998–2013)", with their original credits.
The new site adds friendly guides around that original text, along with answers to the questions users ask. It is sponsored by HVS Image, which makes video tracking for the water maze. Pages that are about HVS Image software are kept together under HVS tracking hints.
How we write and check pages
- Original text is never edited. New copy sits around it, never inside it.
- Papers in our reading lists have been checked against a bibliographic database.
- Each page shows when it was last updated.
- If something is wrong, please tell us. See corrections.
- Editor's notesThe original "Useful to know" notes: temperature, the two Morrises and lighting.
- CorrectionsHow to report a mistake and how we fix it.
- PrivacyWhat the site collects, which cookies it uses and how to say no.
- Original site (1998–2013)The full original text, kept word for word.
watermaze.org is maintained by HVS Image, which makes video tracking and behavioural analysis systems for neuroscience.
